Jonathan Trigell is a dual national and divides his time between the East of France and the North East of England.

 

His books are all thematically distinct,  but each is a novel of enquiry and ideas.

Admired for a gritty but literary style, among other prizes, Jonathan has won the Waverton Award (best first novel), the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize (best work in the Commonwealth by a young author) and the inaugural World Book Day Prize.
