Jonathan Trigell was raised in Britain but, through a passion for
the mountains and freeride skiing, he now lives in the French Alps.
His books are all thematically distinct, but each is a novel of enquiry and ideas.
Admired for a gritty but literary style, among other prizes, Jonathan has won the Waverton Award (best first novel), the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize (best work in the Commonwealth by a young author) and the inaugural World Book Day Prize.
